Life
is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.
--Charles Swindoll
Does the above line ring a bell?
Yes, it’s true. It is hardly the events in the day that affect us but how we
give meaning to those events and perceive them. You can change that belief in
30 seconds and still be happy. It is a matter of diverting your thoughts to
happier stuffs.
A line in harmony with the above line is:
It's not our environment in life that shapes us; it's the belief we attach to the environment and those events.
As an ending note, I would like
to add that too many a time we blame others for what goes wrong in our lives.
The following lines will help you to tap into a good perspective:
Be
responsible for everything that happens in your life. Cease to blame others.
Blaming
others puts you in victim phase. Cease to be a victim.
